Time: 8:51 AM

Weather: Sunny, not humid ūüôā

Readings: 1 Samuel, chapters 6-10

Noteworthy Verse:

“Saul answered, ‘But I am only a Benjaminite, from the smallest of Israel’s tribes, and from the most insignificant clan in the tribe at that. ¬†Why are you talking to me like this?’ ”

1 Samuel 9:21

  • In this verse, Saul has just been told by Samuel that Israel’s future is in his hands. ¬†Saul is soon to be crowned as Israel’s King.
  • This verse is interesting because it shows that when God chooses people to fulfill his plan, he does not care about Earthly status. ¬†Often times the least suspecting people are chosen to do great things. ¬†For instance, Moses had a stutter and Saul came from an insignificant clan.

Today is Thursday, but it feels like my Monday – I need to get ready for work soon. ¬†The past couple days I’ve been praying and stretching for 30 minutes each day and it’s helped to feel grounded and loose.

I have some actions to take in my personal life that I keep putting off. ¬†It’s time to bite the bullet and take care of them.
