“Saul answered, ‘But I am only a Benjaminite, from the smallest of Israel’s tribes, and from the most insignificant clan in the tribe at that. Why are you talking to me like this?’ ”
1 Samuel 9:21
- In this verse, Saul has just been told by Samuel that Israel’s future is in his hands. Saul is soon to be crowned as Israel’s King.
- This verse is interesting because it shows that when God chooses people to fulfill his plan, he does not care about Earthly status. Often times the least suspecting people are chosen to do great things. For instance, Moses had a stutter and Saul came from an insignificant clan.
Today is Thursday, but it feels like my Monday – I need to get ready for work soon. The past couple days I’ve been praying and stretching for 30 minutes each day and it’s helped to feel grounded and loose.
I have some actions to take in my personal life that I keep putting off. It’s time to bite the bullet and take care of them.
