Time: 9:20 AM

Weather: Pretty dreary looking day

Readings: Psalms, chapters 18-25

Noteworthy Verse:

“Wake up, you sleepyhead city!  Wake up, you sleepyhead people!  King-Glory is ready to enter.  Who is this King-Glory?  God, armed and battle-ready.”

Psalms 24: 7-8

Significance:

  • This call to action rings true today as much as it did in did in David’s time.  As a city, as a people, as a world… it’s time for us to wake up!

Feelings:
This past Sunday my pastor spoke about making sure you spend time with the Lord before you leave your house every morning.  Monday and Tuesday I have done this and I am feeling more excited about the Lord than I have in a while.

  1. Doesn’t this sound better?
7  Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8  Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
